Birthday dream- ending my computer woes- Help!

Hello friends & Passers by, my computer is f***ed and irrecuperable, with a friends help, I have found someone who can get all the info from the hard disc, and provide me with a "new" working computer for 395euros. My handicapped Adult allowance is around 600euros/month So I am looking for help on how to set up a fund( paypal account?)so that I can be back on line regularly to continue communicating on Gaia for my birthday & beyond. Up till now I have always followed the maxim: " Don't use your friends for getting money, & don't use your money for getting friends" - I am beyond that now,

So Lovey, The conversion is;
395 euros = $552.0915 dollars.
I'm not sure how the best way to do a fund raiser is because it is international.
I've seen people use chipin.com but again, being international, I don't know how or if that would work.
I do know that I have been paid on paypal.com for ebay auctions by people in the UK.
Paypal is available in France
Hopefully if you open an account, then let us know what the username is, we can send money to that account from the USA using Paypal.com
I'll look forward to some other people coming up with ideas here. But count me in dear heart.

yes, either chipin or paypal would be what i'd suggest too. hugs
One negative thing about paypal is they charge you a fee.
So you don't get all the money that is sent to your account.
You have to pay them for the service, and you have to pay them to issue a check for the total, it stays in paypal instead of going directly to credit on your credit card.
Just another thought…
Perhaps if people want to help, they can send cash or an international money order to you at your home address????

FYI, Monday July 6 update… I went to our Bank of America today and they told me they no longer offer International Money Orders.
They told me to do a Certified Bank Check and the funds would be converted
at your bank, Mike.
