Multiling
When I was lucky enough to be accepted as Ambassador I wrote this speech expressing my wish that Gaia be open to languages other than English,  Now the multilingual pod is going well  and recently Albert gave me this good news

Hi Mike,

you know even the EU in all its departments has bottle encks in translation. While 500 million Europeans are waiting for solutions at this frontiere:) And the European Public Spheres and Media Spheres are diminihed in their conductivity too.

Check:

www.eurozine.com

www.signandsight.com

www.spiegel.de

www.arte.tv

www.euronew.eu

They all are in an uphill fight with multi lingual solutions. India is the largest English speaking democracy of the world, so they communicate English too.

All others need translation support.

I saw 2007 when I checked Zaadz traffic at Alexa that the French are heavily absent at Zaadz.

Lets join forces to open the language spheres as much as posssible.

Cheers,
Albert

Albert, yes let's join forces to open up language spheres but not sure what you mean by “French heavily absent at Zaadz & 2007 TRAFIC AT Alexa?”

Hi Lovey,

Alexa

It's an internet website that tracks the traffic to varied networks.
You can click on the different windows and get different views of stats.

France isn't mentioned on this scale.

Hi Mikey_Dee,  I went and read your Ambassador acceptance speech and loved how you took the post with seriousity & play. On the multilingual pod an origination by Lahn about a word that embodies each culture is the best of originations around Gaia encompassing the allness of all.  Thanks for bringing us the world -  flowers for you…  You have inspired me on another level.

Yup- I read that thread too; and we were there! And you came with such a clear vision and have kept it steady and worked at it.

Its about traffic ranking:

Asking Alexa again

I checked it 2 times in 2007 and asking myself if the French Fraction is growing in the last 2 years:) And about numbers to document it..

I so support that dream!! Am doing my bit to make Gaia non-English-speaker-friendly, with the English Idioms Board in the Multilingual Group. Though for lack of feedback about its usefulness, I have let it go dormant temporarily……

I adore the diversity of cultures and languages here in Gaia, and let's grow ALL the “fractions!!” Here they are not “factions,” haha.

Blessings, OM Bastet

Well, well, well (3 HOLES IN THE GROUND) thank you all so much for all this feedback) this sure beats my announced demise- see last blog entry entitled “I love living life”) A few special thanks- First to OM who co-mods the multilingual pod- Secondly to Ladybear who's helped me from baby monkey steps on Gaia, on to Gigantic leaps

I created a thread in honor of Mikey_Dee's poem and wanted to know if someone could translate this to other languages for this co-creation so we can help get it out to foreign languages.  Thanks!
“A Primal Song”
I sang a song I didn't know,
So sweet it caused the tears to flow,
Emotions, long held back came out,
a song, a scream, a whispered shout
before I'd tried to find the words,
then came this song, just like a bird's
And every syllable kept in,
now echoed with a fearsome din,
I do not know what had gone wrong,
to block my perfect Primal song,
each note a truth,
I'd dared not speak,
the keeping of it kept me weak.
But now I've found my primal song,
I hold my head up proud and strong.
Next time you want to right a wrong,
Just sing out loud your primal song.

What a great poem, MikeyDee!!! Thanks, Kathy, for helping get it out.

One can go to http://translate.google.com/translate_t# and enter text or URL and select a language. But this poem has unusual words, so a native speaker would have to polish the translation.

Blessings, OM Bastet
