my NY's resolution

Posted on Jan 5th, 2009 by Mikey_Dee : A hoot and The frumious Bandersnatc Mikey_Dee
Hello, friends and faithful readers- I have finally made my new years resolution- sit back and enjoy- and a HNY to you too.......
I will finally allow myself to go to the mammals of canine persuasion, and once there, I will teach the more advanced in yeears, new tricks. like ''barking up the right tree''. Then I will be on the mammal of porcine persuasion's back, and I will proceed to make several beautious silk purses from his mother's ear, in the style of Vincent Van Goff. And I will not allow his father to make me suffer from ennui, if that old bore should even try, I shall immediately climb onto the lofty back of a mammal of equine persuasion amd gallup away into a pituresque sunset.

Addiction_ A fiction

Posted on Jan 10th, 2009 by Mikey_Dee : A hoot and The frumious Bandersnatc Mikey_Dee
I burned my candle at both ends,
it shone with lovely light,
My candle helped me make new friends,
even in the darkest night.
These fiends friends, they liked to give me things,
sometimes good & sometimes bad,
these gifts first made me happy, but
in the end they made me sad.
Then the wax melted oh so quickly,
betimes, it burnt my skin,
I really want to stop now,
Just why did I begin?

What was the last blessing in disguise you received?

Posted on Jan 28th, 2009 by Mikey_Dee : A hoot and The frumious Bandersnatc Mikey_Dee
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 28, 2009:

The last blessing in disguise I received was when I came down with menengitic encephalitis on New year's eve, 3 YEARS ago. The only problem was that the disguise was a really good one- disguised as lots of pain, total disorentation, loss of muscle control, 1 AND A HALF YEARS IN HOSPITALS, And so much more grief, that it is only the fact that I am a hopeless Optimist,(oxymoron intended!) which allows me to believe that there is a Blessing waiting to unfold. I'm ready......!!!! Bring on the BLESSING!
