Which foreign country or culture do you feel most drawn toward?

I understand your “cantankerousness” especially in and or a site of spiritual minded people who may hold the thought that we are One… there are no foreign countries, or cultures, just countries and cultures you are not part of or living in..
More and more I think India, is a place and culture I would like to be immersed in. In the same light Tibet…

yes, you are right, all of you….BUT have you heard us all talk…..lolol…..goodness knows what Mike's accent is….such a mix of the Irish and Parisienne…..and me, well, what can I say …. gudaymateowzachooks…that is hello, how are you, in Strine (Australian)..lololol. We are all one yet some of us are bloody hard to decipher at times so I am told…lolololol.

An Indian came back from England and asked his wife: “Am I a foreigner?”
“No!”, she said, startled, “you're not.”

“Then why did people keep asking me in England if I was a foreigner?” he asked exasperatedly….We laugh; but our Mikey-mind says: exactly!!!
 
Have you read:”How to be an alien” by George Mikes?  Luckily I have found it online so I can show you which words are just amazingly funny:

I meant 'foreign country' to mean any country that you (the answerer of the question) didn't identify with, or any culture that you don't already feel at home in. For some the US is a foreign country; for some Canada; for some Zimbabwe. It all depends on who is replying. :)

Well, I like leaving these questions open to interpretation, myself. After all, I was born in the US but there are times that I feel like a foreigner to the culture here, and I'd love to leave the possibility to respond in this fashion. Besides, it's always fascinating to me to see how we each choose to 'read' the questions differently. I think there's space enough for all forms. :)

Well,  we all have our cantankerous moments….

AS to legal alien; yes, I am that; as long as no one realizes I'm actually an outaspace alien, I'm fine!!
now what does this mikey space do to my normally propah self?

I met three children today with two legs between them and their other stumps had running springs attached playing kick ball.  it came to me how little or large I have a choice to show up as; how I can fiddle-dee-deeee and trip over little stuff in life or show up as a peace warrior…….namaste
